What we do

The Killington Alpine Training Center's goal is to enhance the skiing level of recreational skiers and competitive athletes. We pride ourselves on our commitment to improve skiers of all race abilities through extensive coaching and training. Our dedicated coaching staff guides you towards your ultimate success level by developing:

COMMITMENT ~ CONFIDENCE ~ CONTROL

We focus on improving balance, glide and the ability to steer with an emphasis on stance, movement and turn shape beginning with Giant Slalom or the base event.

Giant Slalom (GS) is typically considered to be the base event for Slalom (SL), Downhill (DH) and Super G (SG). GS requires both the power and reactive ability inherent in SG and DH. The basics learned from training GS are adapted to fulfill the special needs of the other disciplines.
