What is required to participate in the KSC/KMS Competition Programs?
- All programs must be paid in full by the first day of the program. No exceptions will be made without prior arrangements. Please contact the Program Coordinator with questions.
- A helmet is mandatory.
- Membership in the Killington Ski Club, sign up at www.killingtonwintersportsclub.org. This membership entitles you to full use of the club building, including tuning facilities, as well as participation in KSC-sponsored social activities and other offerings.
- Participation in the KSC/KMS Work Obligation Program
- Killington unlimited season pass, Killington Resort website
Which program is right for my child? There is a description of each team program with age requirements, training information, and competition schedules on the individual team sites. If you need further guidance, please contact Nicole Kondziela atnkondziela@killingtonmountainschool.org.
Where and when does my child meet their coach? The meeting times are posted on each team's page. There are always KSC/KMS Staff members and club members outside to help your child find his or her group if he or she is having difficulty. All athletes should come should come dressed and ready to meet outside at meeting time noted. Those who arrive late will miss their groups; groups do not wait for late arrivals.
Does my child need to be supervised during lunch? The coaches are not responsible for your children during lunch. If your child is in the one of the STARS programs, it is recommended that they are supervised. All FutureStars participants MUST BE supervised during lunch.
Is access to the mountain included in the cost of the program? No, participants must purchase a ski pass from Killington Mountain.
What is the difference between the Stars Programs and the FutureStars Program? The Stars Programs are competition-based, whereas the FutureStars is for general skill advancement.
