The Club is managed by John Okolovich or JO, a long time Killington
veteran. JO is supported by Nicole Kondziela. The Weekend Programs
are managed by Matt Gnoza, who is also supported by Nicole.

In 2010, the Club changed its name to the Killington Winter Sports Club to
better reflect all of the programs and other activities that the Club currently
offers, which is significantly more than what the Club offered when it
was created in 1961.

The Killington Ski Club was founded in 1961 to enhance the recreational and competitive skiing experience at Killington. Its Mission Statement, as set forth in its by-laws, is as follows:

  • To support competitive and recreational skiing programs at Killington;
  • To seek continued improvements in skiing harmony and sportsmanship at Killington;
  • To maintain a quality membership club and clubhouse;
  • To offer social activities for all its members

The Club, as it is commonly known, has evolved in many years over the years. Today, the Club:

  • Has over 300 family memberships comprising over 1,200 individual members;
  • Has its own private base lodge, located right on the slopes of Killington with ski lockers and cubbies for members to store their gear;
  • Operates weekend and extended programs in partnership with the Killington Mountain School for over 250 weekend athletes in alpine racing, freestyle, freeride and snowboarding as well as the famous "Hopefuls' Program for the Club's younger athletes";
  • Operates the Skillfuls and Masters Racing Programs for adults;
  • Actively supports and works very closely with the Mountain in hosting events across all disciplines;
  • Provides social and other entertaining events for its members
