New this year is a state-wide speed (Super G) camp to be held at Okemo on Monday the 5th and Tuesday the 6th. This camp is to be attended by invitation only and the invitations will be made known following the race on Sunday.

Below is the informtion that we recieved about the camp today. We will update you with any information we get as it arrives:



Feb 2007 1st year for J4 State Speed Camp

J4 State Speed Camp:

Purpose: The VARA J4 Champions Camp will bring the top J4 VT council athletes together for a focused two day session on speed element training. The camp will assist in developing skills for speed elements & terrain.

2 day camp  Feb 5-6, 2007

Location - Okemo Mtn

Cost - $80

* Selection - by council, the percentage will be based of the # of starters in each council after the 3rd council race

Number of athletes - 90

Schedule: very tentative
